Admission Requirements
The course in Salon and Spa Management is open to anyone working in the Beauty and Spa industry, wishing to obtain a higher understanding of the management within the Beauty and Spa industry. No prior Beauty or Spa training is required.

– Industry experience evidence (CV)

Delivery
Synchronised and asynchronous learning takes place over 22 weeks of online learning and starts in January and July annually (bi-annual intake). After successful completion of all 8 modules and the submission of a comprehensive Business Plan, a certificate of successful completion will be issued. Weekly Coffee conversations or Munch and Learn sessions are conducted via live streaming in the evenings. Receive your lessons in lecture notes, pre-recorded video material and complete an assignment after each lesson.

Assessment
Assessments will be mainly assignment based and online assessments followed by the presentation of a comprehensive Business Plan.

International Recognition
Students will be provided with the opportunity to enrol for the CIDESCO membership examination after successful completion of all modules (estimate cost R5000). This examination comprises a multiple-choice paper and presentation of the Business plan.
