At Isa Carstens Academy we are training and inspiring word-class somatology graduates and therapists. We are proudly welcoming back one of our own Isa graduates into the Academy, Sune Bester. Sune completed her Somatology studies in 2009 at Isa Carstens Academy.

As many of our graduates do, Sune joined the Luxury Cruise Liner Industry and did a contract on the “Celebrity Constellation” cruise ship.

She then joined the Hyatt Regency “Oubaai” Golf Resort and Spa where she was soon promoted to the Assistant Manager position. Her career highlights included positions at “Beauty at the Bay Day Spa” in Mosselbay and “La Crème” in Stellenbosch.

“Isa Carstens Academy sets very high standards and contributed to my holistic approach and view on health and wellness” says Sune. The training and education from the Academy provided me with a platform for my own entrepreneurial development. As I now join the Academy as the Manager of the Isa Wellness Sanctuary it is my turn to breathe back inspiration and innovation into our Industry.” Sune says smiling.

There is a growing interest in health and wellness the world over and at Isa Carstens Academy we remain at the cutting edge of training and development in Somatology. “ The young entrepreneurs in the Health and Wellness Industry needs to learn more about the management of a Spa and salon – and this is what we aim to do at the Isa Wellness Sanctuary where the world of work meets theory” says Sune.
