When I first heard about the Nimue Internship programme, I didn’t really know what to expect, as it’s the first time Nimue had offered this programme. But excited for what doors it would open and to broaden my perspective I applied. To my delight my best friend Reaobaka also applied and we both got it, what a blessing!
The Nimue internship programme was well planned and we had open interaction with the lovely Eunice Bredenkamp, International Education Manager of Nimue. We were welcomed warmly by the educational department on our first day as well as all other staff/departments we spent time with later on. We spent time in various departments within the Nimue division such as; education, sales, research and development and marketing. We got to shadow staff and see for ourselves what it’s like to work for a corporate company with our Somatology background.
I saw this adventure as such a blessing. I got to meet fantastic people, was well looked after with transport costs being paid for, lunches provided for and even free products. Most of all I’m grateful for the connections I made with people, their invaluable advice and learning that I have many options as a passionate Somatologist.
The Nimue team at Ascendis Health is just so full of life and passion for the brand. I believe in the brand and respect the time and effort put in by so many people to get just one product on the shelf. I felt like apart of their family during the internship and hope to join their team someday.
If this programme continues; I encourage all Isa students to apply.
Thank You
