ISA Carstens Academy

This year, our 3rd year Somatology students had the privilege of donating their time and expertise to the Sani2C cycling race that took place from 12 to 16 May 2015. Sani2C is currently the largest 3 day stage race in the world, and after a tough day on the saddle, massages are a great way to unwind. Studies also show that massage increases recovery time of the muscles and improves performance in multi-stage events.

In addition to this, Isa Carstens is also very proud to announce that we had our very own “Isa Cycling Team” members take part in the race. Namely Van Zyl de Wet and Ernst Bruwer.

After a whole lot of hard work and enthusiasm, the hall was transformed into the Dischem Massage Barn where our students performed their massages on eager, aching cyclists.

Our committed, extremely capable and dedicated students hard at work;

A very warm thank you to all our students, sponsors and staff that made this day possible.
